Arturia: Vitalic & MiniFreak

As part of our ongoing collaboration with music hardware & software company Arturia, we were commissioned to produce a short documentary about French electronic composer & producer Pascal Arbez-Nicolas (Vitalic/Kompromat). The film is both a profile of Vitalic and what drives his musical explorations, as well as a demo of how he specifically uses Arturia’s MiniFreak synthesizer to create his techno/disco/rock genre-defying sounds, and it features a sneak preview of his upcoming Kompromat album. We shot the film in Vitalic’s recording studio and the surrounding Montmartre neighborhood of Paris.

You can read more about the project on Arturia’s website, or visit Vitalic’s site to hear his amazing music.

Part of an ongoing collaboration with Arturia, where we profile musicians from around the world. View more of our Arturia “Artist Stories” videos.
